Candace joins the KBC Board as the Bioeconomy Science Institute (BSI) director appointee. Candace brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned director and business leader, with a strong track record in governance, commercialisation, and leadership across the science, technology, health, and primary industries sectors.

Candace currently serves on the University of Auckland Council and is President/Chair of the Cancer Society Auckland/Northland. Her previous governance roles include board positions with Livestock Improvement Corporation, Eastland Group, WEL Networks, and Chair of Helius Therapeutics.

Candace is also a former CEO of NZTech, where she launched TechWeek, and has held senior roles with Palantir NZ and investment firm Jarden.
