Barry Harris - Director

Barry Harris is the Chair of the New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science which is a newly formed Government owned public research organisation bringing together four Crown Research Institutes (AgResearch, Manaaki Whenua, Plant & Food Research, Scion). Barry was previously Chair of NIWA. He has extensive governance experience, serving on the boards of McFall Fuel, Hamilton Airport Company and Wel Networks, and previously was Chief Executive of Environment Waikato, Greater Wellington Regional Council and Hamilton City Council.
